1. General

These general terms apply to all agreements and services of the contractor (independent web designer). Deviations are valid only if agreed in writing. The contractor only supplies presentation websites unless otherwise agreed.

2. Services

Services consist of designing and delivering a presentation website, keeping the website online, and basic optimization for speed and correct operation. No back-end functionality unless agreed in writing.

3. Payment

A one-time fee applies for the website design and delivery. Clients also pay an annual amount for hosting and keeping the website online unless otherwise agreed. Monthly fees must be paid by the first day of the month. Late payments may result in temporary suspension of the website.

4. Hosting and Domain

Hosting and domain name are provided by the contractor unless agreed otherwise. Contractor is not liable for outages or disruptions caused by the hosting provider.

5. Delivery and Refund

Delivery occurs after full payment of the one-off amount. A 14-day period applies for refunds, only in the case of irreparable technical errors caused by the contractor. Changes by the client void refund eligibility.

6. Changes

Minor content changes can be requested. Structural changes or repeated adjustments are outside the standard service and can be invoiced separately.

7. Access

Clients receive access to their website. Any actions through the client’s account are their responsibility. Contractor is not liable for damages caused by client changes.

8. Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 3 months, with a maximum of the one-off project amount. Contractor is not liable for hacks, data loss, consequential damages, or client-caused errors.

9. Security

Reasonable security measures are taken, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Content

Clients are responsible for all content. Contractor is not liable for claims arising from the content.

11. Termination

Cancellation is possible with one month’s notice. Paid amounts are not refunded. After termination, the website will be taken offline.

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by UK law.
